CMFT: All wins in match day three

Male', MALDIVES - The third match day of ongoing Club Maldives Futsal Tournament ended all the six games finishing with a win. In the very first game of the day played between Island Aviation and Meteorology ended with a 3-1 win to Island Aviation. Ahmed Habeeb, Abdullah Naseer and Mohamed Anwar scored for IA team, while Hussain Zahir scored a consolation one for the weather guys.

Ministry of Youth, who surprisingly outclassed the defending champions in their first game, maintained their form and snatched a narrow win of 2-1 against Radio Club. Mohamed Sajjah and Abdullah Ibrahim scored for the Youth and Moosa Shifau scored for Radio Club.

Public Works scored half a dozen against Nasandhura Palace last night, which eventually ended 6-1. Ibrahim Mamnoon and Hussain Rasheed each scored two for Public Works and then Hussain Dhilshan and Hussain Thasneem added one each. Mujahidh Mohamed scored Nasandhura’s lone goal.

Immigration embarrassed TVM by 4-0 with goals from Abdullah Haneef, Yousuf Umar, Arfiu Mohamed and Jinah Abdu Shukoor.

Goals from Shafraz Ahmed and Ahmed Sinan were enough for Bank of Maldives to beat STO by 2-0.

The last game of the night was played between MIFCO and People’s Majlis, which MIFCO won by 5-3. Ibrahim Mohamed netted twice, while Mohamed Shifah, Ali Shiyad and Ibrahim Imthiyaz each scored one. Ibrahim Rasheed, Hussain Nishan and Ahmed Aiman were on target for the Majlis.

The next match day would be the next Thursday.
